Range Hood Installation
Installation requirements:
1. Make sure the range hood size is 30 inches. If there is a cabinet above the range hood, please measure the length of the position reserved for the range hood between the cabinets. If do not have cabinet, shield of stainless steel cover needs to be purchased separately.
2. Please confirm whether there is a preset smoke exhaust pipe above the range hood. The machine exhaust is at the top, and the exhaust port is 6 inches in diameter. The exhaust pipe must not be smaller than 6 inches in diameter. At the same time, the straighter the pipeline is, the better the effect is. Try not to turn too much bend or 90 degrees Angle bend, otherwise it will affect the smoking effect and produce noise and other problems.
3. Please confirm whether there is power supply on the wall above the range hood.
Best installation height of range hood：

The recommended height range for the best installation of the range hood is between 27 "-32.5”, from the cooktop to the distance of the top of the range hood. If it is higher than 32.5”, it is recommended to add 4 "or 6" decorative plates, which has reached the best installation range.

Attention! If the installation height is too high, it will affect the effect of the range hood.
Installation Fee Standard of Range Hood:
1. Installation fee $150-$250 ( Limited to kitchen that already have exhaust pipes.) There is a price difference between different cities or regions. Accurate charges are subject to local installer quote. This fee includes the following services: removing the old range hood, and Install a new one.
2. The materials consumed in the installation process should be paid by the customer, such as the exhaust pipe, diameter-changing adapter, outer wall outlet cover, etc.
3. The free service is within a 20-mile radius of each major city, with an additional charge of $1 per mile beyond.
4. Please contact the construction party to confirm the quotation for the complex installation such as patching the wall, patching the paint and adding the power supply.

Troubleshooting
Loud noise
Cause：
Ducts maybe smaller than 6 inches in diameter, clogged, too many bends or knotted pipes cause air to be unable to be discharged smoothly, resulting in back-flow of air into the pipes, resulting in collisions that produce varying degrees of noise and affect smoking effects.
Solution：
Check whether the pipe diameter is above 6 inches Inspect pipes for clogging and cleaning.
Check if there are too many bends or kinks in the pipe to straighten the pipe as much as possible to minimize bends.
Try to use metal hard pipe or semi-rigid flexible aluminum pipe, do not use folded aluminum foil pipe.
Can't take all the smoke
Cause：
Range hood maybe installed too high.
Ducts maybe smaller than 6 inches in diameter, clogged, too many bends, or knotted ducts cause air to be unable to escape smoothly, and when pumped back into the ducts, some of the smoke can't be sucked.
Solution：
The recommended best height range is between 36"-27", from the range to the top of the range hood. If it is higher than 36", it is recommended to add 4" or 6" decorative plates, which has reached the best installation range. Please reinstall if necessary.
Check to see if you can change pipes larger than 6 inches in diameter. Inspect pipes for clogging and cleaning.
Check if there are too many bends or kinks in the pipe to straighten the pipe as much as possible to minimize bends.
LED light is not working or flashing
Cause：
LED broken or poor contact
Solution:
Check whether the power socket is powered up.
Check whether other functions of the machine are normal.

Smoke plate is not opening
Cause：
The putter may be worn or in poor contact.
Solution:
Check the power supply and unplug and replug the range hood.
Check whether other functions of the range hood are normal.
Check whether the connection between the push rod and the range hood circuit board is loose, or unplug the connection between the push rod and the range hood circuit board and plug it in again.

Smoke plate cannot be completely closed
Cause：
The stainless steel filter may not have been installed correctly.
Solution:
Reinstall the stainless steel filter.

Smoke plate cannot be fully opened or closed (recently installed)
Cause：
The two screws connecting the push rod to the smoke baffle are too tight.
The two screws on the left side of the upper cabinet are too tight to hold the machine.
Solution:
Loosen the two screws connecting the push rod to the smoke plate.
Loosen the screws of two fixed machines in the left side of the cabinet.
X800 PRO wave sensing function is not sensitive or does not work
Cause：
Wave too far from the panel.
It didn't cross the left and right sensors.
Solution:
Make sure to wave with the panel at 5cm.
Make sure to swipe through the left and right sensors.
